Alexander Park Tavern

While on vacation we had lunch at Park Tavern. Everyone in our group of 6 enjoyed the food. However, it was really busy and the service was a little slow. But the server was friendly and lots of fun. We had a great dining experience.

Food is excellent, but choose a table vs a booth. Sitting in a booth is like an unamusing amusement ride as any motion in the seat behind you sends you catapulting into your food. This has happenef both times I have eaten here, in different sections. Turns out this time, the people behind me were very energetic, and I spent the entire meal leaning on my table to avoid becoming seasick.

Nice location for tasty bar food. I love snacking here. The staff was friendly and sociable.

Cheap chicken Monday is busy at Alexander Park Tavern, but our party of 4 only waited about 10 minutes for a large booth.Three of us choose 1/4 light with 2 sides while the other chose soup and salad. The Tavern offers outstanding soups. Service is excellent. Prices are reasonable. The only drawback is the restaurant can be noisy, especially since it is filled with locals who know each other!
